How UYM investors’ money is protected
Raising investment through online platforms in Uzbekistan is governed by Presidential Resolution PQ-255 “On measures to regulate investment activities carried out using modern information technologies” of 21.08.2025 and the NAPP regulation on the regulatory sandbox.
Operator on the NAPP register
UYM Invest is an Uzbek resident company listed in the electronic register of investment platform operators kept by the National Agency for Perspective Projects, which supervises the platform.
Bank escrow account
Investor money goes to the operator’s bank escrow account and never mixes with company funds. By law it cannot be pledged, used for other purposes or seized by third parties except by court order.
Cooling-off period
After buying shares you have three days to cancel without a reason. The money returns within three business days, usually at once.
Minimum raise
If the minimum is not reached by the deadline, the offering is cancelled and all money is returned within one business day.
Limits for new investors
Until you pass the investor test, limits apply: 30 BCA per property and 150 BCA per calendar year. The test is free; you need 75% correct answers.
Disclosure
For every property we publish an offering: the property company’s details, beneficial owners, purpose, dates, minimum and maximum amounts, investor rights and risks, and every fee.
Participant checks
We identify every investor and corporate beneficial owner and check the source of funds under anti-money-laundering law.
Contract register
Every investment is an electronic contract. Investor rights are confirmed by an electronic certificate and an entry in the platform’s contract register, which is reported to the Unified State Register of Business Entities.
Data stays in Uzbekistan
Personal data of Uzbek citizens is stored and processed on servers in Uzbekistan under the Law on Personal Data.
What to keep in mind
Real estate investments are not covered by the Deposit Guarantee Fund. Returns are not guaranteed: tenants leave, repairs cost more, prices fall. Shares cannot always be sold quickly. Only invest money you are ready to hold for several years.
